I took my first photographs while I was studying Art in university. I shot some black & white film, developed and printed it—and I was hooked.

While at university I started to shoot weddings. At first, I only worked for friends of mine who wanted my particular blend of formal and journalistic photography that gave them something unique in the moment-by-moment images that I captured for them. When their friends saw my work they began to seek me out and ask me to photograph their weddings as well. So I did. I enjoyed the work, and my clients loved the images.

Since then, I have shot hundreds of weddings. I never tire of working with the bride and groom to catch and crystallize the many wonderful moments that make up their special day—the beginning of their new lives together.

I also enjoy capturing other special times for people. Baby and family portraits, proms, plays and parades—all are a part of the stories of our lives. All are waiting to be caught—for you—in the lens of my camera.
